Target audience for poster presentation
The OIST ML Workshop is open to all applicants, with a target of hosting 200 participants. Among these, we will select 80 highly motivated individuals for the poster presentation. Our primary audience for poster presentation includes master’s and PhD students with a strong technical background in machine learning research. However, a limited number of industry professionals, professors, researchers, and exceptional bachelor’s students may also be considered for presentation, depending on availability. Accommodation support will be provided to selected participants.
The content of the poster does not necessarily have to be from published work, as ongoing projects or work resulting from undergraduate projects are also acceptable. While the day program covers a range of topics of general interest, the poster sessions provide an opportunity for participants to engage with their peers and discuss their own research. The poster presentations will be informal and relaxed.
Note that the poster presentation is optional for joining the workshop. So, if you plan to join the workshop without a presentation, please register in November.
